The Technological design programs introduce students to the design process: investigate, plan, create, evaluate. This course provides students with a variety of learning experiences that focus on the practical application of the principles of engineering, architecture, and design. These activity-based courses emphasize problem solving to meet design challenges in a wide range of areas; mechanical, architectural and graphics. Students are introduced to 3D modelling and 2D computer aided design using software packages such as Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
