James found that his time in computer engineering courses at St. Thomas Aquinas helped prepare him for university by giving him the freedom at times to learn independently and develop skills on interesting assignments. James believes the technology industry offers the flexibility of learning skills that can be applied to a wide variety of interests. This industry is especially attractive to curious individuals: there are always new things to learn and opportunities to positively influence day to day life. A career in the technology industry can be challenging and competitive. Working hard and finding a niche will help individuals find the right opportunity.

Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) Specialist Program
STA Class of 2010
Angie graduated from the original St. Thomas Aquinas in 2010, and received the Communications Technology Award for her graduating class. She went on to receive high distinction in the Digital Enterprise Management Specialist program while studying at the University of Toronto Mississauga. The foundational skills she learned in STA Tech coupled with a university internship can be credited with kickstarting her marketing career. For four years she worked in the start-up space at multiple fast-paced software companies, and she has recently ventured into B2B e-commerce at Flowerbuyer. Similar to 2010, in her spare time she's still up to no good. Kidding, in her spare time she enjoys travelling (she’s been to 17 countries so far), yoga, and snowboarding.
